Pets are surely a bundle of joy. They are always excited to see you whenever you return home from work or school. Their excitement is so obvious that you can’t help but feel the love. However, losing a pet can be one of the hardest experiences for an individual. After all, a pet is just like a child. The way people grieve differs from person to person, and some people find the loss of a pet comes in different stages where they experience feelings of denial, guilt, anger, depression, and finally, acceptance.
On the other hand, some people might find that their grief hurts them. There are highs and lows. The lows would normally be deeper and longer in the starting but would later become shorter and less intense. However, even as the years pass, a special anniversary or date can quickly spark up memories that trigger a strong sadness.
